Chinese Principal of Harrow Haikou
Cathy has been deeply involved in the education industry for 18 years. She holds an MBA from Hult International Business School and has worked in education management positions in well-known international school groups for more than 15 years. Cathy has not only the experience of managing foreign children’s schools, but also the experience of establishing private bilingual schools. Her long experience of working and studying in a multicultural environment has given her a broader perspective, more diversified thinking and a more tolerant mentality. In Harrow Haikou, she will lead the team to cultivate the core values of Harrow for the new generation of Harrow students through teaching and learning, leadership projects, institutional systems and other activities, namely “Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship”, the four core values that Harrow students would benefited from throughout their lives, enabling them to have a foundation and strength to go further.

Mr Cooper has taught in a number of private international tier-one schools since 2008, notably Jumeirah English Speaking School, Dubai; followed by Harrow International School, Beijing; and Dulwich College’s Dehong Chinese International School, Shanghai. Having taught in both international and bilingual schools, he feels particularly attuned to the educational environment within a culturally rich Chinese context. His breadth of experience has led to a strong belief that children are happiest, and learn best, when they are fully engaged; challenged with inquiry based practical activities that have a real-world learning context, often taking place beyond the classroom.
Deputy Head of Lower School
Mr Moore has rich teaching experience in Japan, China and Thailand. He is familiar with all aspects of planning and delivering differentiated lessons in a wide range of subjects as well as designing appropriate curriculum, evaluation and testing strategies. He is the specialist in providing opportunities for students’ personal development and the cultivation of a positive outlook.

Ms Boulton graduated from Manchester University gaining qualified teacher status in Primary Education. She was the Assistant Head for a large primary department at an international school. During this time, she worked hard to ensure the pastoral well-being of students and the teaching and learning taking place maintained consistently exceptional standards across the school. This is a particularly passionate area of interest to her; Additionally, she has a proven working understanding of the EYFS curriculum and has successfully implemented transition programmes.
